This was AWESOME!!! It was so easy and it blended great. It was just a bit thin so I added a little bit more ice cream to make more thick! Hmmmm.....can't wait to have another!!! Thanks for sharing!

This is a great way to use up some pumpkin I've had around for awhile and since DS#3 loves anything pumpkin, this fit the bill. I made for two servings and I also cut way back on the brown sugar. I figured w/the vanilla icecream, that that was enough sweetness. It was!! Thanks for posting this great recipe Jess.!~ Made for 123Hits.

At first, I was a little taken back by the blatantly pumpkin-pie flavor of this shake. It's good, but it can be a shock at first. I ended up mixing my whipped cream into the shake, and that made it a little more milk-shake-y and a little less PUMPKIN!-y. But, by the time I was finished, I ended up making another without whipped cream 'cause I was too lazy to make more. It ended up making for a really good snack for a sore throat and 75-degree weather in December! Thanks! :) Tagged for "Every DAY is a Holiday".

We really enjoyed the flavor of these shakes! The texture wasn't as creamy and smooth as I hoped, though. I used canned pumpkin, and my family said they could really feel the "squash"-iness. Hmm. Not sure how to get around that in a shake that's supposed to taste like pumpkin pie. Jack-in-the-Box knows how to do it with their Pumpkin Pie shakes, but theirs probably don't have any actual pumpkin in them. :) My pumpkin pie spice also stayed a little gritty. Thanks for sharing this recipe; we slurped them down quickly because they were so sweet and flavorful.

Very good! Even on a cold day, milk shakes are delicious. This is so simple and tasty. I will make again. Made for the Aussie/New Zealand 12 Days of Christmas Recipe Swap.
