These are so deliciouse! I have made these before but in my old age forgot to rate them. I just made them again for Thanksgiving (double recipe) using the tassie pastry recomended by Evelyn, and they were all gone by the next day.I already have requests from the kids and my husband to make them for their various Christmas parties. Thank you for a wonderful addition to our holiday cookie plate.
I made this in the evening today to have for dessert tonight. This recipe was easy to follow and prepare. When I checked these after baking them for 25 minutes in my preheated oven, they were very very moist. So, I baked them longer. However, the nuts were still pretty moist even after baking for 44 minutes. Unfortunately, they were beginning to smell like the ones at the bottom were burning:-( So, I just removed them onto a plate and allowed them to cool. They tasted allright. However, they lack presentation and dont look very appealing to eat. Sorry but I wont be trying this again. UPDATE: I gave this another try this time baking these at the stated temp. for 25 minutes. They were way better and I shared them with lots of people! Thank you!
