    Neaner's Note:

    I was hooked on this pie from the first bite! It has become a tradition at our Thanksgiving dinners. I use a little less sugar than the recipe calls for, but you may want to follow the recipe the first time.

    Ingredients:

    Yield:

    9inch pie

    Units: US | Metric

    Directions:

    1. 1
      Cream together sugars and butter.
    2. 2
      Add remaining ingredients except nuts and mix well.

      Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    4. 4
      Sprinkle nuts on top.
    5. 5
      Bake 375* for 45 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean.

      This is one of the best Oatmeal Pies I have ever had!!! I went ahead and cut back on the sugar and it was perfect for us. Now I have to go so I can get another piece!!! Thanks so much for sharing this, Neaner. :-)

      This review is based on my hubby, who has the worlds biggest sweet-tooth!! EXCELLENT!! I found it way too sweet for my taste but it was very tasty!! You don't need a very big slice of this one!! Very easy and looks really appetizing. We'll be making this one again! (very soon according to hubby!!)
