These were fabulous!! The flavors blended so nicely together and were a nice change to my standard roasted asparagus that I usually prepare. I halved the recipe to suit for our size of family. I used half of the olive oil and I added some fresh gound pepper at the end. Thanks you so for posting this, as I will be making them this way from now on!!people found this review Helpful. This dish makes a nice presentation and was well-received, even by the asparagus haters in my family. Next time, however I’m going to lighten-up on the butter and oil to see if it makes a significant difference.people found this review Helpful. We were lucky enough to buy asparagus at the farm gate the other day, so I wanted a special recipe for it. This was simple, all the flavours seemed in balance, and it highlighted our beautiful fresh asparagus perfectly.
