My husband loved the sauce and said it would be a great BBQ sauce base. I made these for my kids though and the bourbon taste was too strong. Probably my fault, but not our very favorite.

These are a treasure in our family! Good ol' Grams was famous for bringin these to all partys or havin on hand out at camp! The only difference..we make them with hotdogs...and we call them "DRUNKEN WIENERS" This is a must try recipe....thanks for posting, and bringin back alot of great memories!

Darlene, I made these to take to a friend's backyard barbeque. Followed your instructions and then poured them into one of those small crockpots to keep them warm. What a waste of time doing that!!! They were gobbled up so fast there was no way they could have even begun to get cold. Then everyone wanted to know why I didn't bring more...next time I will! Thanks for this delicious recipe!!!
