Wow ! Yum. Next time I am going to try this recipe with Flax Milk. I will use olive oil as well for flavor. I will also try it covered in butter and blue cheese which go great with beef. I don't eat much meat but this is how I like it and rare! Thanks for this recipe.

Excellent. Subbed skim milk for cream so as was to be expected, my sauce was much thinner, but sooooo excellent! Loved it and so did hubby:)

Can you say YUMM?!?! It's rare that I find a dish that is crazy-good enough for these kinda calories, but whaddaya know: This is a hit! DH really enjoyed it. (Enjoyed what he could while I oohhhed and aaahhhed all through dinner)

Absolutely wonderful! I usually grill or blacken my steaks, but now I have a great new alternative. I used NY Strips because I already had them. I trimmed them and followed the instructions above and they worked beautifully. Thanks Sandi.

This was a breeze to make and turned out wonderfully. I served it with mashed new potatoes to soak up that great sauce and sauted asparagus with garlic chips for some added color to the plate. It was decadent and great for a special occasion!

WOW. This is awesome. I made this as directed with no changes at all, except for a little extra garlic. Not sure how much cracked black pepper I used, but just covered it pretty generously. The sauce is out of the world wonderful. Not something that you would eat very often, but what a treat. Thanks so much for posting this. I can see why this is your favorite dish. Next time maybe DH will not snatch them up before I can get a photo.
