    Manami's Note:

Very nice and yummy dessert. Nice presentation and wonderful too! This is easy to make because am using prepared puff pastry as well as the caramel fudge topping and Cool-Whip.

This is a great dessert. Easy to make with a touch of class when presenting. I initially purchased the wrong frozen pastry. I purchased "shells" so I went back and found the frozen pastry sheets. Rich dessert. I rolled my apples in brown sugar before I wrapped them up with the pastry sheets. The egg/water combo made for a very nice brown glow to the dumplings. Will make again. Thank you for posting!!!!!

So cute and tasty!!! These are easy to make and taste like mini apple pies! I absolutely love the presentation because when you cut them open, the filling flows out and just looks neat!!!! I put foil over my puff dumplings for the last 12 minutes because they were brown to my liking at that point. The apples turned out al dente. They were crisp-tender and very good but not mushy or overly soft. I forgot my sauce because I had been in a hurry to get these made before I had to leave and so I added it later and it was really great!!!! Thanks for posting this beautiful recipe!!
